Minister Ramkrishna’s daughter passes away

Madhya Pradesh Farmers’ Welfare minister and District Incharge Ramkrishna Kusmaria’s daughter Kanti passed away following a prolonged illness at a private hospital in Jabalpur. She was 25 years old. She was undergoing treatment at a private hospital of Jabalpur. Meanwhile, the minister’s relatives alleged that the girl died due to negligence of hospital doctors.

Godman Santosh Madhavan gets 16 years jail term

A Kerela Court has on Wednesday sentenced 16 years imprisonment for Swami Amritananthachaithanya alias Santosh Madhavan for raping and sexually exploiting two people, including a minor girl. The Ernakulam Additional Sessions Court has also asked Santosh Madhavan, who was arrested last year, to pay Rs.220,000 to the two victims.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared it’s 12 class results today at 10 a.m. Results are declared of CBSE Chennai, Ajmer and Panchkula regions only.

Earthquake struck Jammu region

A moderate earthquake struck the Doda and Kishtwar districts of Jammu and Kashmir early Wednesday. There were no immediate reports of any loss of life.
Panicked people in the mountainous twin districts rushed out of their houses as quake was felt at about 1:10 a.m.. ‘Fearing aftershocks, people spent night outside their houses.

Sensex crosses 14,000; day’s trading halted

The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensex has gone up by 2099.21 points on Monday which forced BSE authorities to halt the trading for the entire day.
