French police have detained Dutch supermodel Karen Mulder as they investigated a complaint she had harassed a cosmetic surgeon friend.
The model was being held in a police station in the chic 8th arrondissement, or district, of Paris. She was suspected of harassing the doctor by telephone after the surgeon refused to carry out an operation.

Yemeni plane crashes in Comoros, 150 on board

An airliner belonging to Yemeni state carrier Yemenia Air crashed in the Comoros archipelago in the Indian Ocean with 150 people on board.
A spokesperson of government told reporters, “We don’t know if there are any survivors among the 150 people on the plane”.
