Two killed in explosion in Howrah district

At least two people have been killed in an explosion while making bombs at Chitnan village in Joypur under Howrah district on Sunday.
Police said the deceased were yet to be identified. The bodies had been sent for post-mortem and investigations were on.

13 Women killed as boat capsizes in Maharashtra

At least 13 women have been killed and 18 went missing after two boats capsized in western India. They were returning home from the fields when their vessels overturned Saturday evening in a river at Bhandara district of Maharashtra.

22 policemen killed by Maoists in Chhattisgarh
