4 students among five killed in road mishaps

Three 10th class students of Akal Akdemy, Balbehra, who were on a motorcycle, were hit by a truck on Patiala-Cheeka road.
The victims, identified as Harinder Singh (18), Gurtej Singh(17) and Pamul Goyal (18), were killed on the spot.
Eyewitness said that the accident occurred due to dense fog on the road.
In another accident, a speeding truck hit two students going to their school on cycle at village Rai Majra near here on Patiala-Sanaur road. Second class student Manjit Singh(10) was killed on the spot while his brother Sunny (15) received injuries.
