Andhra CM Rajasekhar Reddy’s Chopper goes missing

The helicopter, that took off from Hyderabad earlier in the day, has landed safely in Kurnool district, though chief minister’s whereabouts are not still known.
An army chopper has been dispatched to comb the forest area of Kurnool district where it is believed to have disappeared. The CM’s helicopter had gone off the radar for a while due to heavy rains while on its way to Chittoor district.
The state machinery swung into action to trace the missing chopper and Chittoor district collector and other top officials frantically tried to establish contact with the Chief minister’s aides accompanying him. All the police stations in Kurnool district were put on high alert and police parties dispatched to locate the missing helicopter.
