Bus falls on rail tracks near Howrah station, 7 killed

The accident took place around 4 p.m. when the bus fell from Bankim Setu on the railway tracks, almost 50 feet below the bridge.
A senior official said, “Rescue operation is on. We are apprehending that at least six to seven people are dead in the accident and another five or more are injured”. Police and railway medical teams have rushed to the spot. The bus fell between the two platforms (11 and 12).
