According to BJP, The UPA Government’s insensitive approach has made common man’s life difficult in the city. BJP warns the Govt. that it will face the wrath of the people if it fails to take immediate steps and curb the price rise.

November 13 called off as Delhi bandh by The Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) to protest the sky hiking food prices and on top of this DTC bus fare hike. BJP believes that, “The price rise in food sector is the biggest scam of UPA, which has allowed speculators to loot the country by manipulating food prices. It is not the case of real shortages but it is a case of large scale hoarding and jacking up prices through commodity exchange”.

Delhi BJP president O P Kohli said that the party has decided to observe Delhi bandh on Friday to oppose government’s anti-people policies. At the same time he urged businessmen, welfare associations and residents of Delhi to observed total shut down in the national capital to oppose the government policy and support Delhi Bandh on Nov. 13.

BJP has already circulated the reasons for the bandh in the form of pamphlets which has been distributed by BJP workers at various places including Mother Dairy outlets and DTC bus depots and bus shelters.
