Earthquake struck Japan coast
Apr 28th, 2009 | Category: Breaking News, World NewsAn earthquake of magnitude 5.0 struck off the east coast of the main Japanese island of Honshu today. There were no immediate reports of any deaths or casualties.
The Earthquake hit at around 3:00 a.m. IST. The epicentre of this earthquake was around 44 kilometres east-northeast of the city of Mito and 142 kilometres northeast of Tokyo. It centred at a depth of about 41 kilometres beneath the sea floor.
