Encounter Specialist Pradeep Sharma reinstated by Maharashtra Tribunal

Encounter Specialist Sharma was sacked from the service in August 2008, on the allegations of having links with the underworld. The allegations against Pradeep Sharma could not be proved.
Pradeep Sharma tops the list encounter specialists in the country. Pradeep Sharma, the Inspector with the Mumbai Police, also served in the Crime Branch. Pradeep Sharma expressed relief at the verdict and said that he was vindicated.
