Fire in AC coach of Golden Temple Express

The fire occurred when the vacant AC coach was parked in the railway yard for cleaning and washing.
The fire apparently began in the airconditioner of the coach and the airconditioning system was badly damaged in the blaze which also burnt doen part of the interior furniture in the coach. However, the railway staff was able to control the fire in time, preventing damage to the body of the coach.
The cause of the fire was being investigated and the coach had been de-linked from Golden Temple Express, which would be provided a new coach for its next journey.
