Punjab CM accepts Amarinder’s offer to meet PM together om floods issue

Amarinder Singh regarding joint deputation of Punjab to meet Prime minister Dr. Manmohan Singh for the seeking funds for the flood affected people of Punjab.
Talking to media persons in Budhmour village, 40 km from Patiala on Patiala-Pehowa road, Badal said “I am very much thankful to him and I can go with anybody to meet anyone on my bare feet for the betterment of the people of Punjab.”
Notably, former Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh On Wednesday offered the ruling Akali Dal government to accompany them to meet Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh on the issue of ‘unprecedented’ floods in Malwa region of state.
Badal also urged prime minister to develop the permanent solution of Ghaggar River and treated it as “National Project” as it was running through three different states Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan.
