SFI calls for colleges’ bandh

Students Federation of India (SFI) has on Tuesday called for a shutdown of professional colleges in Hyderabad to highlight the problems faced by students in some colleges.

SFI state Secretary Chandramohan told media, “About Rs 1,000 Crore tuition fees reimbursement is pending, we demand that the dues be cleared quickly”.

The SFI leader demanded that the state government make efforts to safeguard the professional standards by appointing an assessment committee.
