Shivnath Thukral exits from NDTV

Thukral’s movement from the NDTV group marks a high-level exit. He joined NDTV in 1995 as a reporter. From being a reporter, he rose to the position of the Managing Editor for NDTV Profit in 2007 to September 2009. In September this year, Thukral was named the Business Editor for all NDTV channels and Advisor for the group.
Today he stands as one of the most significant faces in the Indian Business reporting arena. Thukral has been behind the coverage of several important international summits like WTO in Doha, Cancun as well as World Economic Forum in Davos for NDTV.
Reason for Thukral’s exit has not been revealed. Also, NDTV has yet not decided on replacement for Thukral, but an insider is expected to take the charge.
