Six dead, Twenty Seven injured in collision of 2 buses
Mar 8th, 2010 | By admin | Category: Breaking News, India News, Punjab NewsAround six member of a marriage part have been killed and 27 others were injured in a head-on collision between two private buses near Mamugoia village between Jalalabad and Guru Harsahai in the Ferozepur district tonight.
Deputy Commissioner Kamal Kishore Yadav said both the buses were carrying ‘Baratis’. While one was on its way to Abohar, the other was coming towards Ferozepur, he said.
According to Mr Yadav, fourteen of the injured have been admitted to civil hospital at Jalalabad, while six were sent to Medical College Hospital at Faridkot and the remaining seven have been admitted to the civil hospital of Ferozpur.
