Tamil Nadu CM Karunanidhi begins fast on Sri Lanka issue

Karunanidhi told media, “The fast will be indefinite and this is my sacrifice for the cause of Sri Lankan Tamils. Let me become another victim of Sri Lankan President Mahindra Rajapakse’s genocide”.
Tamil CM has been demanding a permanent ceasefire in Sri Lanka and protection of Tamil Civilians in the island nation.
