Temperature peaks at 40.4 in Chandigarh

The temperature was around 3 degree more than the normal temperature and it was the highest this summer in Chandigarh.
A senior official of meteorological department Chandigarh has said that if the temperature would increase even by one degree, which is likely to be the case in a day or two, heat wave would set in.
