Sgt. Joe Snyder says 22-year-old Ross William Muehlberger was pronounced dead Wednesday morning at United Regional Health Care System hospital. Police around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday were summoned about gunfire at a book store, where four people suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Police minutes later got a call about the suspected gunman at a nearby bar. Police say one man was hit by gunfire at the bar and was killed. The gunman then fled to a house, where police were outside when a shot was heard coming from inside.
Hospital spokeswoman Kim Madden says one victim was in fair condition. Three other victims were transported to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas. Their conditions were not immediately available.
