Two tigers found dead in Ranthambhore National Park

According to an official spokesman the carcasses of two male big cats-aged around two years-were found in the Northern part of sanctuary near the Sawai Madhopur-Karauli interdistrict border by the Forest and Wildlife Department patrol party this morning.
The two young tigers were sibblings and reported missing for sometime, the spokesman informed. Remains of two partially eaten up goats were also lying in the vicinity. It might be a case of poisoning but nothing could be taken as conclusive at this stage, he said.
A three member committee headed by Divisional Commissioner Bharatpur had been constituted to probe into reasons and circumstances of death and/or killing of the carnivores, the spokesman said adding that the committee would submit its report to the state government within three days.
