U.P. IAS Harminder Raj Singh Commits Suicide

Harminder Raj Singh, principal secretary (housing) in the state government, shot himself in the head with his personal weapon at his residence on Vikramaditya Marg, Lucknow.
Harminder Raj Singh was a 1978 batch officer of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS). According to informed sources, Singh was under a lot of pressure on account of political interference in his work.
